Ashley Whylly RP (Q)

Registered Psychotherapist (Q)

This therapeutic space welcomes you to come as you are, and together, we can work towards who you desire to be. I am committed to creating an inclusive, anti-oppressive, and compassionate space for those who need it. As an Afro-Caribbean immigrant in Canada and a new parent, I have diverse experiences and welcome those who are also navigating life’s intersections.

I have experience supporting individuals and couples navigating the reproductive stages of life, dealing with interpersonal challenges, and those hoping to foster better emotional awareness. I want to provide a space for you to feel seen, understood, and equipped with the tools to traverse uncertainty; whether this is related to pregnancy, parenthood, cultural/life stressors, or grief. I also believe in the therapeutic power of creative expression. I hope to encourage you to utilize existing resources and passions as a part of your healing journey. My approach is trauma-informed and draws from Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Culturally Responsive and Socially Just frameworks. I am excited to collaborate with you!
