Therapy Modalities

Mindfulness
Mindfulness is the ability to bring awareness to the present moment, regardless of what is unfolding for you right now. Your brain cannot be stressed and calm at the same time and we will guide you to understand and experience what calmness and compassion looks like for you and how to access it more frequently.

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a therapeutic modality that involves noticing how your thoughts, emotions and behaviours are interconnected. Not all thoughts are the truth and we will guide you to notice and cultivate new thought patterns where you can feel more at ease and in control of your emotions and overall experience.

Compassion-Focussed Therapy
Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT) is a therapeutic approach that encourages holding compassion towards oneself and others. This approach allows you to hold compassion, free of judgment, in how you think, feel and behave in order to move towards shifting the behaviours that are getting in the way of finding balance and enjoying your life.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a therapeutic modality that involves mindfulness skills and practicing self-acceptance with experiences we cannot change. In turn, you practice committing to feeling and moving through these experiences, rather than avoiding these experiences all together.

Eye-Movement and Desensitization (EMDR)
