Kate Love RP(Q)

Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Reaching out to begin therapy requires vulnerability, trust, and the desire to know oneself better. Setting aside that time just for yourself can feel selfish, however, I believe that engaging in therapy is a brave act. I have worked extensively supporting clients with birth trauma, parenting issues and perinatal anxiety. I have also offered support to clients navigating the fertility journey, loss and the symptoms of grief. I believe that therapy is a date you make with yourself to receive support as you navigate the inevitable ups-and-downs of life.
In terms of my approach, I blend multiple modalities and experiences to meet the unique needs of my clients. I draw from Client-Centered Therapy (CCT), Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as mindfulness and ritual practices. My approach is rooted in trauma-informed and anti-oppressive practice. Overall, my goal as a therapist is to bear witness and create spaces for my clients to process, heal, and thrive.
