Bloom Well For You: September Issue

Hi and welcome to the September Issue

September always feels like a new year to me. I eagerly await its arrival and that fresh-start feeling that comes along with the cooling air. Back-to-school anxiety can be contagious, and despite years of not being in school, every September I like to review my schedule, set a few goals, get some new stationary, and try once again to form a new routine. I hope September’s issue of BLOOM WELL FOR YOU can help you turn over some of your own changing leaves, too.

With love,
Fernanda

💡 Fernada's 3 Tips for a new routine 💡

Trying to navigate a new routine for better work-life balance? (Aren’t we all?! 😅) Here are 3 ideas that can help make the transition a little easier.
  • 📝 Write it down
Grab a pen and paper (or your phone) and take note of what you’d like the next few months to include. Decide what to prioritize, and remove anything that doesn’t feel good or causes stress.

  • 🗓️ Schedule it in
Take a look at your calendar to see where you can begin scheduling new habits. See if it all fits nicely into place, or if you require more downtime for yourself. If you do, schedule that in, too.

  • 💕 Take a reset
Be gentle with yourself. Most often, transitions will take time. Make sure you have a reset day, perhaps Sunday or Monday to try again, and again.

The Bloom Well Buzz

With any transition comes big change. This September, we’ll be saying good-bye to Chiara, our Administrative Assistant. Chiara has helped Bloom Well Therapy grow for almost 5 years with warmth and grace and we are so grateful for the time she has spent with us. We’re sad to see Chiara leave and we wish her the very best as she begins her new journey in the field of Social Work.
We’re also looking forward to Clea joining us in September, who is Chiara’s sister! Clea is the loveliest, and we’re certain the transition will be smooth. You’ll see Clea beginning to respond to emails in September. Please join us in welcoming Clea to the team.

Bloom Well Team at Work

This September, we’ll be having our first ever in-person get together with the team! This is the first time we’ll connect in person since Bloom Well Therapy was launched during the pandemic. We can’t wait to celebrate how far we’ve come together, and all that lies ahead.

“Change is the only constant in life, yet as creatures of habit we often hold on to what feels familiar, and struggle to let go of what is no longer helpful to us.”

Monica, one of our wonderful therapists, wrote a lovely piece on navigating the transition into fall.
